Hey everybody! I’m so sorry that I haven’t updated. There just hasn’t been time for sitting in front of a computer lately. Later this week there will be time for me to do that and I’ll be catching all the news I’ve missed. Here’s a recap of what’s happened lately with Christina:
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performance was cancelled because Christina was sick.
She did later perform at Time 100 gala, because she was selected as one of the most influential people in the world (photos have been added to the gallery)
Christina will perform at the Billboard Music Awardstomorrow, May 16 on May 19
Christina has recorded a Spanish duet with Alejandro Fernández. The song is called Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti [Today I Want You] and it’s going to be the theme song for a soap opera called La Tempestad [The Storm]. This is a huge thing in latin America!
Though we’ve known this for a while, it is now official that Christina will return to The Voice season five.
I’ll update about the above and some candid photos under this post, so that the timeline won’t break. This is all I can do today but be sure to check the news again starting tomorrow! :)
The annual FiFi Awards are here again and Christina’s latest fragrance Red Sin has made it to the final four to become the celebrity fragrance of the year. Justin Bieber’s Girlfriend, Halle Berry’s Closer and the fragrance newcomer Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday are competing against.
FiFi Awards are like the Oscars for fragrances and this year they’re held in London at 16th of May. Visit InStyle’s website and vote for who you think is going to win!
Here’s another new Let There Be Love remix and it sounds very good! Underneath is also a demo for Sing For Me, sung by one of the writers – Ginny Blackmore. Christina’s made quite a lot changes to the lyrics for the album Lotus.
Christina has returned home to Los Angeles after a week in Japan. Christina tweeted while she was in Japan that the cherry trees are blossoming and it feels like heaven. Must’ve been an incredible vacation! A couple of weeks from now Christina performs at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction with a Donna Summers tribute.
So, I’m glad I warned you… From now on I should be able to update regularly again! Here’s Christina’s and Pitbull’s performance at Kids’ Choice Awards and some other updates I’ve missed.
Yesterday they had a party to celebrate The Voice season 4 premiere and guess who was there? Christina of course. :) Here’s some photos and a video from the red carpet. I bet there will be many more and I’ll come back later to update them.

Christina was spotted out yesterday in West Hollywood with her boyfriend Matt. Christina was looking very casual – leggings, plaid shirt, a cap, and without makeup.
Click on the image above to see the new photo from the scenes of Feel This Moment music video. Nice to see Christina’s style in color! And then a list of small news:
Feel This Momentvideo has now over a million views on these last three days it’s been out!
Your Bodyvideo has rised to #7 on the Youtube’s hot 100 list! It’s previously peaked at #8 on the second week of its release. It has been viewed 8 million times these past 7 days. Maybe Feel This Moment reminded more people of Christina!
Christina has changed her Twitter account name from TheRealXtina to just Xtina! She even tweeted earlier: “I AM XTINA!”
Snooki tweeted about her and Christina looking the same: “I wish! She’s hot!!”
P.S: I’ve got so much school work this week, but I’ll try my best to stay up to date with the news. Thank you for your patience! :)
Let’s begin with a The Voice post. Below you can watch Judith Hill‘s (were chosen to be on Michael Jackson‘s This Is It tour) audition with What A Girl Wants. She sang it well, very different from Christina. :)
And then some thoughts from the host Carson Daly about what is it like on the show without Christina:
Do you miss anything not having Christina and Cee Lo there?
You know Christina, she was harsh at times. I liked the constructive criticism she gave people, how she delivered that message I would cringe a little bit, but I appreciated her honesty. And I think these contestants, they want that. I know that from talking to them. If they don’t get by, they want something to take away from that. And so when she would talk in that language of, “Honey I’m sorry nobody turned but I’ve got to be honest with you, you have to come down two octaves because every time you reach for it your strain is killing you. You are 17 and things are going to change in the next three years, trust me you’re next vocal lesson sing everything E flat.” Things like that, I miss a little bit of that. I’m not saying it’s not there, but um…
